Samara is a social worker in Toronto who has over 10 years of experience in community social work and in private practice. She spent 17 summers at Camp Massad in Manitoba, as a camper, staff member and, ultimately, director, and grew up immersed in the world of Jewish community. In Toronto, she continues to be involved in refugee activism, local politics and community-building.
Samara is married to another former camp director and they are parents to two boys under the age of 3. There is nothing Samara loves more than camp, community and sing-alongs. |
Eden grew up at Camp Shomria, following longstanding family tradition. After being a madrich (counsellor), and Rosh Tarbut (head of programming) he decided to take his passion for healthcare and put it into action in his favourite community. Eden brings with him three years of experience as a campus First Responder at the University of Ottawa. Since 2019, Eden has been the Rosh Mirpa'ah (Health Centre Coordinator), a go to for first response and first aid, and ensuring continuity of care between rotating medical professionals.

Andy (Head Chef), Paloma (Kitchen Manager), Noor (Kitchen Staff), and Benno (Kitchen Staff)
We love and appreciate our kitchen staff who always go above and beyond to cook delicious and nutritious food.
"Both children spoke very positively about the food, going way past expectations of a summer camp. They wrote home about how good the food was."
