The Ken.

Can't wait until summer?
Neither could we. The Ken (‘nest’ in Hebrew) is our time to come together and put what we’ve been learning into practice back in the city. We, like many camps, are able to create a sort of alternate universe in the summer, but unlike any other camp, we know that developing our campers into the best versions of themselves can’t only happen one month of the year. It’s a practice, one that continues on even into the school year and the Ken is how we ensure that happens. In fact, in most branches of Hashomer Hatzair around the world, there’s only a Ken and no summer camp at all – that’s how important sustained engagement is to this work.

Sign up for all remaining Ken events before January 28th, 2023 and only pay $96! (savings of 20%)
Ken tuition is $15* per event.
*Excluding any rentals required for the Skating Ken on February 18th, 2023.
COVID-19: Please note that Ken programming will be held both indoors and outdoors. Hashomer Hatzair - Camp Shomria continues to have a vaccine mandate for all eligible program participants and staff (two doses required, boosters strongly encouraged). We do not currently have a mask mandate in effect. Participants and staff are welcome to wear masks when indoors and/or outdoors, but will not be required to do so. Please do not attend programming if you are currently experiencing symptoms or if you have recently had COVID-19 (please wait 10 days from symptom onset before joining our programs).
We reserve the right to modify our COVID-19 policies and protocols throughout the year.
