Financial Support.
Available to all Registered Families:
Kids In Camp.KIC is a registered charity established to financially assist families to send their kids to an Ontario Camps Association (OCA) accredited camp through Camperships. KIC only provides Camperships to families whose gross annual income is under $85,000.
Overnight Camps - $500 per week, to a maximum of 3 weeks per approved camper. You can learn more about KIC here. Contact our office at [email protected] if you think you may be eligible for KIC funding and to receive the application forms. |
Sibling Discounts.Attending camp is a great opportunity for siblings to connect in new ways and bond over their shared camp experience.
If you are sending multiple children from the same household to camp, you likely qualify for our siblings discounts: $55 per camper registered for a one-week session; $70 per camper registered for a two-week session; $100 per camper registered for a four week session. |

Available to GTA Registered Families:
UJA Medical Fellows.For our GTA Families only:
Each year the Jewish Foundation at UJA allocates funds to partner camps like Shomria that have Israeli campers residing in Toronto with a parent who is here for a medical fellowship. The purpose of the fund is for the medical fellows’ children to participate in Jewish life and Jewish camps in and around Ontario. To be eligible for the grant, campers must be children of Israeli medical fellows and the child must already be registered for camp. |

Available to Registered Families from Hamilton, London, Montreal, Sault Ste Marie, Thornbury and Windsor:
One Happy Camper.
This grant is open to campers who are attending for their first or second year of a 12+ day session. This means that if a camper attended for one week last year and they will attend for two weeks this year, they are considered a first-time camper for OHC purposes. As a reminder, campers who attend Jewish Day School are not eligible. More information about this grant program can be found here.
