Hello Parents,
Today is the first full day at mosh, and camp is in full swing!
Yesterday the buses arrived and everyone met at the “chet” (flagpole) for a big welcome to Camp Shomria. After going over some quick rules, each kvutza had their first zman kvutza (Group Activity) of the summer.
After snack, the whole mosh gathered again for the summer’s first zman mosh (Camp-wide Activity). The kids broke off into smaller teams and had to complete tasks to score a line on their bingo cards. I had lots of fun being chased by chanichim who needed to catch me before I signed the square on their bingo card.
Dinner was delicious: spaghetti with a hearty tomato sauce or alfredo sauce with salad and fruit. For dessert we had a camp classic: chocolate chip cookies.
We’ve posted photos from yesterday which you can view here. We will do our best to post new ones every day to give you a window into all the fun and learning that happens at camp every day.
