Directions to Camp Shomria
Camp Shomria is located just outside of Perth, Ontario on R.R.#3 (Otty Lake road). Perth is about 3.5 hours from Toronto and 1 hour from Ottawa.
Directions From Toronto:
Take Highway 401 East to Kingston. Exit at Exit #617 (Hwy. 10). Take Route 10 North (left at lights). Note that this is a good place to grab a bite, find a washroom or fill up with gas. At this point, you are approximately 1 hour from camp. Upon entering Westport, about 40 minutes from Kingston, turn left at the stop sign after you have enjoyed the wonderful view. Stay alert and follow the signs for Hwy. #10 (it will be on your right side just a little past the gas station). On Hwy. #10 (also called Scotch line at this point), just before entering Perth you should see a "Camp Shomria" sign on your right (there is a streetlamp on the corner). If you reach the Perth streetlights you have missed the turn off - turn around and look for the sign on your left. Once on R.R. #3 (Otty Lake Road), travel for about 4.7 kms. Camp Shomria is immediately after a sharp right turn - on your left hand side.
Directions From Montreal:
Take Highway 20 West, Highway 29 North to Smith Falls, and Highway 43 West to Perth. Once in Perth, turn left on Gore Street. Continue until Lanark #10 and turn right. After a few kms., turn left on R.R.#3 (Otty Lake Road). There will be a Camp Shomria sign at the corner. Continue for about 4.7 kms. Camp Shomria is immediately after a sharp right turn on the left hand side.
Directions From Ottawa:
Take Highway #7 West to Perth. Once in Perth, turn left at the Canadian tire. (streetlights) Follow the signs (yellow) for "Perth police and fire services". You will end up at Hwy. #10 (Scotch Line). Turn right. After a few kms. You should see a "Camp Shomria" sign on your left (there is a streetlamp on the corner). Once on R.R. #3 (Otty Lake Road), travel for about 4.7 kms. Camp Shomria is immediately after a sharp right turn - on your left hand side.
