Hello from camp!
Yesterday was the highly-hyped “Watermosh Day”. Chanichim were woken up by Josh Martow and Lior Lustgarten dressed in outrageous costumes including water wings and a tinkerbell headband. They were immediately given a coloured headband indicating which team they were on. Each team met up in the Shomria Field for the morning mifkad where the goals and rules of the day were announced.
After breakfast, teams competed in a variety of different mini games from 'sponge dodge ball' to 'hose limbo' to 'capture the kiddy pool' (a game similar to capture the flag but instead of grabbing the other team’s flag one jumps in other team’s kiddy pool without being tagged).
After lunch, teams prepared for the battle royale: a gigantic water fight in upper field with sponges and hundreds of water balloons. A few minutes into the fray, the Perth & District fire chief drove onto our mosh with a fire truck to power a giant slip-and-slide set up on the Shomria field. Needless to say, it was an amazing day enjoyed by all. Special thanks to Adam Steiner for the outstanding pictures he took during the day, which can be found here.
Registration for summer 2014 is now up! Be sure to register now to ensure a spot for your child and that you get the ‘Summer Special’ discount. Click here to register.
Looking forward to the last few (and the best few) days of mosh 2013.
