Hi Parents,
So much has been going on this past few days!
For the past week we have been working on a brand new gaga pit (gaga is a sport played with a ball within a small walled enclosure). The Astroturf floor was generously donated by Synthetic Turf International and it is a fantastic surface to play on. Since it’s grand opening, the pit has been in constant use and kids have been making use of the court’s lighting to play in the evening. Today we completed the surrounding benches and the gaga pit is sure to be a new hot spot on our mosh thanks to comfortable, shady seating. Pictures of the gaga pit can be found here but more will be posted with the added benches.
Toady everyone returned from the “Full Mosh Tiyul” – a one-night camping trip that the whole camp goes on together. The weather was fantastic on both days and at night we played an exciting new game where kids had to find hadracha that were hidden around the site. Find pictures of tiyul here.
Tonight the hadracha geared up for tomorrow’s special day: Watermosh Day! The camp will be split into small squads that compete in a bunch of mini activities before converging in a massive waterfight.
Finally, if you haven’t read it yet, there is a great article in the Globe and Mail by Patrick Martin about the Heart to Heart program. You can find it here.
