After the best summer I have ever experienced we have reached the end of mosh 2013. It has been quite the ride: Yom Haatzmaut, Yom Revolution, Watermosh Day, the new Gaga pit, full mosh tiyul, hilarious erev, heart to heart, the tornado warning, and so many other notable moments from this summer.
Last night official mifkad was held at 10pm (normally it is at 6pm). Holding hands in a long chain, the whole camp walked in single file through a pathway marked out by tea light candles in paper bags that Tzofim Gimmel (now yedid!) set up. Everyone then witnessed an outstanding mifkadesh (fire display) put on by the tzofim gimmel kvutza who had been working tirelessly on this project for the past week. Please take a look at the great pictures taken by Adam Steiner and Nimrod Vanir.
This bus is scheduled to leave camp at 11:30am this morning. We will be posting bus progress updates on the website.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the end-of-summer event at the Toronto Ken on Saturday, September 7th. More information on that event to come.
It has been a pleasure to be one of the leaders at camp this summer. It has been inspiring to challenge your children and watch them learn, grow, and build powerful friendships together over just a few weeks. I look forward to seeing them at the Ken, at mosh choref, and next year at Mosh 2014!
